About the Role
PrepLadder is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer (SDE II) with hands-on React.js experience to build clean, scalable user interfaces.
The role works closely with product, design, and backend teams on features used by a large user base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Translate UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and reusable frontend components.
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches such as CSS Modules, Styled Components, or Tailwind CSS.
- Good understanding of state management using Redux, Context API, or a similar approach.
- Experience working with REST APIs and asynchronous data handling.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
