Holt Executive Ltd is seeking a Senior FPGA Designer to join an engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading FPGA design and testing using VHDL/Verilog, developing DSP algorithms, and working on SDR applications.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and testing of complex FPGA designs using VHDL/Verilog
- Drive projects from concept through simulation, implementation, verification, and documentation
- Contribute to development and improvement of engineering processes and workflows
- Support evaluation, integration, and deployment of control boards and hardware platforms
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer facing projects
- Design, simulate, code, and verify FPGA solutions for SDR applications
- Develop and optimize digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms
- Perform timing analysis and optimization for high speed FPGA architectures
Requirements
- BSc or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant hands on FPGA engineering experience
- Strong proven experience in FPGA development using VHDL and/or Verilog
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL and Bash
- Python experience highly desirable

Position Overview

Requirements

- Experience working with RF test equipment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with embedded systems is a plus.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant hands on FPGA engineering experience.
