This is a hands-on, build-first individual-contributor role.
The engineer works with business and technical stakeholders to understand operational problems and own solutions from discovery through production improvement.
The role focuses on production-grade agentic AI applications and enterprise integrations.
Core work
- Translate complex operational problems into practical requirements and solutions.
- Build AI agents with multi-step reasoning, tool and API orchestration, context management, exception handling, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Develop production RAG pipelines, vector search, reusable AI services, and enterprise platform integrations.
- Deploy solutions, provide production support, and perform relevant DevOps activities.
Must-have criteria
- At least four years of relevant software and AI engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on Python skills and practical experience with at least one additional programming language.
- Production experience with generative AI, LLM applications, and agentic AI workflows.
- Experience delivering software from requirements and solution design through deployment and production support.
- Experience with APIs, asynchronous programming, typed data validation, testing, CI/CD, source control, structured logging, and error handling.
- Experience with production RAG patterns, vector databases, or search platforms.
- Experience deploying containerized cloud solutions with monitoring and observability.
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership, including deployment, operational support, and DevOps activities.
- Fluent English and strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Readiness for full-time, on-site work in Abu Dhabi.
- Eligibility for UAE government security clearance.
Compensation and support
- The working salary range is USD 5,000 to 7,000 gross per month, depending on seniority and relevant experience.
- The employer covers the UAE employment visa, employee medical insurance, initial travel to the UAE, and a return flight at the end of the assignment.
- Apartment-search assistance and local arrival support are provided.
- The candidate is responsible for long-term accommodation costs.
Workplace
- The role requires full-time, on-site work in Abu Dhabi.

- Candidates must complete the required UAE government security-clearance process and may need to provide identity, education, employment, police-clearance, and other requested documents.
