Senior Firmware Developer - Thermal Application

The Senior Firmware Developer - Thermal Application engineer will be responsible for leading the design, development, validation, and support of electrical and electronic systems for HVAC equipment, with strong hands‑on experience in screw chiller machines and thermal products.

This role involves technical leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and end‑to‑end ownership of electrical, controls, and integration activities throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to commissioning.

• Lead the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for HVAC machines, including screw chillers and thermal products.
• Prepare, review, and approve electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, interlock logic, and BOMs.
• Select and integrate electrical and electronic components such as VFDs, controllers, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, protection devices, and safety components.
• Lead and support PLC and HMI programming activities, including control logic review, I/O allocation, tag mapping, alarm handling, and parameter optimization.
• Drive BMS integration (BACnet / Modbus or equivalent), including points list definition, signal mapping, validation, and coordination with site/BMS teams.
• Support control philosophy development and close integration of electrical systems with controls and embedded software.
• Drive design validation testing (DVT), dry testing, performance testing, and troubleshooting in lab and factory environments.
