- Perform day to day accounting entries and finance data entry in the ERP system
- Prepare, record, and post journal entries including accruals, prepayments, and closing entries
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year end closing activities
- Prepare draft financial statements and supporting notes for reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory audit process
- Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables, and other accounts
Requirements
- Qualified finance professional with hands on accounting experience
- Experience with Oracle ERP is highly preferred
- Ability to work on site full time at client premises in Doha

Background
- Client seeks to enhance finance execution capacity for day to day accounting, period end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- A qualified finance professional will be seconded full time within the Finance function.
Scope of Work
- Perform day to day accounting entries and finance data entry in the ERP system.
- Prepare, record, and post journal entries including routine, adjusting, accrual, prepayment, provision, and closing entries.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year end closing activities.
- Prepare, update, and maintain account schedules, reconciliations, and supporting working papers.
- Prepare draft financial statements, supporting notes, schedules, and disclosures.
- Support preparation of financial reports and analysis required by management.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for supporting documents and data.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory audit and interim review.
- Review general ledger transactions and ensure proper classification.
- Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables, accruals, prepayments.
- Support compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and client policies.
- Collaborate with Finance team including Senior Accountant and Treasury Officer.
Qualifications
- Hands on execution capacity, not review only or advisory role.
- Physically based at client premises during working days.
- Experience in Oracle ERP is highly preferred.
