Your Opportunity:
Under the supervision and general direction of the Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for a variety of customer support duties as a member of the Business Advisory Services (BAS) team. As a member of the Clinical Support Services BAS team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of tasks across the Zone; primary responsibilities include: providing financial customer support to staff in client departments, assisting in development of department budgets, maintenance and monitoring of departmental budgets, performing detailed variance analysis and assisting with external reporting requirements. Description:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will coordinate and/or prepare complex financial and statistical analysis and reports, along with providing interpretation of analyses and reports to support business and external requirements. Your work will be focused on budgets, forecasting, recommendations for program and/or cost efficiencies and development or enhancements to processes and controls. In addition, you will coordinate and monitor progress of financial projects, as well as coach and guide other department staff such as Financial Analysts.

Post secondary degree specializing in accounting or related field (e.g. economics, statistics).
Intermediate MS Excel skills. Minimum of four (4) years of accounting or financial experience. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to think and act strategically and systematically. Work with minimum supervision. Ability to meet defined deadlines. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
Working towards or completion of a professional accounting/ finance designation or MBA. Financial experience in a Health Care environment. Strong working knowledge of Oracle & Hyperion applications. Experience providing financial advice to leadership positions.
