Position Overview
Support Transaction Leaders in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring renewable energy investments.
Conduct deal analysis and due diligence and screen proposed deals against established investment criteria.
Develop the techniques and skills required to manage renewable energy investments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling and projections and coach analysts on financial modeling.
- Analyze financial statements, company accounts, sector data, and renewable energy market developments.
- Provide analysis for due diligence and post-investment monitoring of assets.
- Support transactions through timelines, due diligence, data collection, analysis, and selected transaction leadership.
- Manage stakeholder meetings, respond to client and investor inquiries, and develop basic legal and commercial documentation.
- Prepare high-quality PowerPoint slides and reports for fundraising, investor, board, shareholder, and corporate presentations.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics.
- 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
- Thorough understanding of renewable energy markets, technologies, players, and industry drivers.
- Solid understanding of commercial and funding structures, asset management, and financial statements.
- Advanced financial modeling proficiency and mastery of Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Previous experience in investment management, private equity, or power and infrastructure is desirable.
