- Perform reconciliation of financial transactions across multiple payment gateways and third party processors
- Validate and process microtask payments to global freelancers, ensuring compliance with regional tax and labor regulations
- Analyze discrepancies in financial records and resolve issues within established turnaround times
- Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports for audit and compliance review
- Monitor platform fee structures and recommend adjustments to optimize revenue while maintaining competitive pricing
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or payment processing within gig economy platforms or digital marketplaces
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, or payment reconciliation tools
- Strong understanding of international tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and freelancer tax compliance
- Experience with blockchain or cryptocurrency based transactions is a plus
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment with strict attention to detail and confidentiality
