- Experience supporting budgeting and month end close processes
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with SAP, TM1, Power BI, or similar financial systems preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Scope of the Role
- Reporting to the Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager – Supply Chain Finance will support the Canadian Supply Chain organization by providing financial leadership, analysis, and decision support across Manufacturing, Procurement, Distribution, Inventory, Planning, and Logistics.
- This role is responsible for partnering closely with Supply Chain leadership to drive financial performance, support productivity initiatives, optimize costs, and provide insights that enable effective business decisions.
- The Senior Finance Manager will lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities for the Supply Chain function while ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
- Partner with Supply Chain leadership to support operational and financial objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support cost optimization and productivity initiatives.
- Support business cases and financial evaluations for capital projects and strategic investments.
- Participate in cross functional initiatives focused on cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with the site controller in Canada and in other locations.
- Support inventory management and working capital initiatives.
- Lead Supply Chain budgeting, forecasting, and long term planning activities.
- Analyze monthly financial results and explain variances versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Support monthly close activities and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare and present financial results and insights to Supply Chain and Finance leadership teams.
- Monitor manufacturing and logistics cost performance.
Candidate Profile
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing Finance.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and cost accounting principles.
- Experience supporting budgeting and month end close processes.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience working in a cross functional business environment.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with SAP, TM1, Power BI, or similar financial systems preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: CAD 112,030 CAD 162,030.
- Eligible for McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
