Equans is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to join its team in Rotherham on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.
The role ensures facilities maintenance activities meet statutory legislation and contractual obligations.
What will you deliver?
- Develop customer relationships and act as the interface and first point of escalation for service delivery.
- Manage a large team and deliver facilities management to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Technical Services Manager and site staff to support technical-service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company programmes, processes, procedures, site procedures, and client audit requirements.
- Support contract development and the customer relationship.
- Deliver continuous measurement, development, and retention of staff.
- Conserve energy and other utilities where possible.
- Lead internal and external audits.
- Manage commercial and financial requirements, including cost control and appropriate financial recovery.
Who are we looking for?
- Experience of full facilities management.
- Strong understanding of financial and commercial management.
- Experience of educational environments is desirable.
- IOSH or another health and safety qualification.
- Demonstrable experience in a management position.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
