- Expedite suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment, materials, and documentation per Purchase Order
- Issue daily and weekly expediting reports
- Liaise with other departments to expedite document review and approval
- Coordinate with logistics for transportation/shipments
- Assist with PO closeout and resolve Over, Short & Damaged issues
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree/Foundation (or equivalent) in relevant discipline or HSD/GED/IGCSE or 2 years of relevant experience
- 1 6 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

Job Overview
- The Senior Expediting Tech completes a variety of Expediting assignments with limited supervision.
- They are an informal resource for colleagues with less Expediting experience.
- They provide solutions to problems in atypical or infrequently occurring situations.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Expedite suppliers efficiently to ensure timely delivery of equipment packages, materials, and associated documentation.
- Understand Supplier’s Project Schedules and act with a confident and persuasive approach.
- Issue daily and weekly expediting reports.
- Liaise with other MDR departments to expedite documents review and approval.
- Input consistent updates in the Company system and distribute expediting reports.
- Follow up with sub suppliers if required.
- Coordinate with various Project disciplines to address expediting related issues.
- Highlight/escalate concerns to appropriate team members.
- Identify field expediting visit requirements and perform field expediting visits.
- Liaise with Logistics to arrange for Transportation/shipments.
- Coordinate and close out Over, Short & Damaged issues.
- Ensure supplier invoices related issues are sorted out and follow up with accounting for payments.
Essential Qualifications and Education
- Associate’s Degree/Foundation (or equivalent) in relevant discipline or HSD/GED/IGCSE or 2 years of relevant experience.
- 1 6 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
