Role Overview

  • Responsible for supporting inventory control activities and ensuring stock accuracy across retail outlets, warehouses and restaurants.
  • Focus on maintaining accurate stock records, identifying discrepancies and supporting basic cost tracking and variance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control & Stock Verification: Conduct scheduled and ad hoc stock counts at retail outlets, warehouses, and restaurants; Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records; Identify and report discrepancies in stock balances; Validate inventory transactions (transfers, retu
  • Cost Tracking & Variance Support: Support preparation of basic cost and inventory usage reports; Monitor actual vs expected inventory consumption and flag variances; Perform initial validation of data and transactions for identified discrepancies; Escalate material variances to Finance or Management
  • Inventory Adjustments & System Updates: Prepare inventory adjustment entries based on approved findings; Ensure all adjustments are supported with proper documentation; Maintain accuracy of inventory records in ERP/POS systems.
  • Compliance & Controls: Support implementation and adherence to inventory SOPs and controls; Highlight non compliance and repeated control gaps; Assist in strengthening stock handling and recording practices.
  • Reporting & Operational Support: Maintain records of stock discrepancies and follow up actions; Support month end and year end stock count activities; Liaise with warehouse, retail, and F&B operations teams on inventory matters.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, stock audit, or operations (retail/F&B preferred)
  • Experience in retail, F&B, or FMCG environment is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of inventory management processes and controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/POS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic analytical and problem solving skills to identify and flag variances
  • Structured and disciplined in following processes and controls
  • Good communication skills to liaise with operations and finance teams
  • High level of integrity and accountability
  • Willingness to travel between outlets and warehouses as required
  • Hands on, with ability to work in operational environments
