Senior Estimation Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and customer requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimations for aluminum systems, profiles, accessories, and related materials.
• Calculate material quantities, system components, accessories, and hardware requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales and Technical Services departments to ensure technical accuracy and proper project requirements alignment.
• Prepare and submit quotations within the required timeline.
• Follow up on quotations and support the Sales team during technical and commercial discussions.
• Maintain and update costing sheets, estimation databases, and price lists.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining company quality standards.
• Support management with reports related to quotations, project costing, and sales analysis.
• Ensure compliance with approved pricing structures and company procedures.
• Assist in improving estimation procedures and workflow efficiency.
• Support and guide junior estimation engineers when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimation within aluminum systems, fabrication, or construction-related industries.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum profiles, accessories, and aluminum systems applications.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and BOQs.
• Good understanding of costing and commercial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and Orgadata software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and task prioritization skills.
