Role Overview
JR Infratech is hiring a Senior Estimation Engineer for its Siliguri head office.
The role leads estimation and costing for PEB, factory sheds, industrial structures, and LGSF projects.
The position requires strong technical and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings for PEB, LGSF, factory sheds, civil, and structural works.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, BOMs, and rate analyses for steel, civil, roofing, and finishing works.
- Lead tender document review, technical and commercial bids, pre-bid queries, and final submissions.
- Float vendor enquiries, analyze quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize comparative statements.
- Use PEB estimation software, optimize steel weights, and prepare cost-effective proposals.
- Coordinate with design, project coordination, structural engineering, supply chain, and sales teams.
- Guide and review junior estimators and the quantity surveying team.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- The qualifications section requires 4–5 years of estimation engineer or senior QS engineer experience.
