Role Overview
Lead and manage estimation activities for infrastructure and civil construction projects.
Estimation and Tender Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, rate analyses, and tender pricing.
- Develop project estimates using CCS Candy and other relevant estimation tools.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities and measurement sheets.
- Prepare resource, material, equipment, and manpower cost estimates.
- Review project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial conditions.
Coordination and Commercial Work
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate competitive rates.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Commercial teams during tender preparation.
- Prepare tender summaries, cost comparison sheets, and management reports.
- Participate in tender clarification meetings and technical and commercial discussions.
- Support contract negotiations and handover of successful tenders to the project team.
- Maintain historical project rate and cost information and submit estimates within tender deadlines.
Requirements
- Capability to lead estimation work for infrastructure and civil construction projects.
- Capability with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, rate analysis, tender pricing, and BOQs.
- Capability to use CCS Candy and other estimation tools.
