About the Role
Join the team as a Senior MEP Estimation and Design Engineer in Dubai, supporting projects across the UAE market.
Lead cost estimation, tendering, and design coordination for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender proposals for MEP packages.
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate pricing.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for quotations and technical clarifications.
- Lead MEP design development and value engineering in line with UAE codes and standards.
- Analyze subcontractor and vendor bids.
- Support bid preparation, submission, and negotiation.
- Mentor junior estimation and design engineers.
- Coordinate with project management and site teams on design-to-execution alignment.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant MEP estimation and design experience with substantial UAE market experience.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory bodies and approval processes, including DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, Trakhees, and DDA.
- Proficiency in estimation software and AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, and electrical systems design and costing.
