Position Overview

Support Software QA, Systems Engineering, and Product Development teams developing digital controllers for AI, client, and server applications.

Work on-site in the engineering lab five days per week.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform SMT hand soldering, PCB rework, fine-pitch soldering, board bring-up, debugging, and testing.
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
  • Manage lab benches, racks, test-station PCs, virtual machines, board setup and tuning, and hardware wiring.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and test stations and support equipment intake, labeling, and inventory tracking.
  • Document procedures and train team members on lab equipment safety, ISO, and other relevant protocols.
  • Use a lab ticketing system to prioritize testing and bring-up support for multiple engineering teams.
  • Contribute to lab improvements, process development, best practices, and the annual equipment plan.

Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, hardware repair, software troubleshooting, PC maintenance, and lab maintenance.
  • Expertise in SMT hand soldering down to 0201 components, PCB rework, fine-pitch soldering, board bring-up, debugging, and testing.
  • Experience in an engineering lab requiring independent technical judgment for troubleshooting, rework, and board validation.
  • Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and the ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and datasheets.
  • Diploma or engineering qualification in electrical, electronic, embedded, or computer technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce ESD safety guidelines.
  • PC hardware, networking, assembly, repair, and configuration experience is preferred.

Workplace

  • The position requires on-site presence in the lab five days per week.
