Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate complex engineering and construction projects from concept through completion
- Define project scope, schedules, and budgets
- Manage technical deliverables and ensure alignment with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
- Oversee multidisciplinary project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants
- Resolve technical and operational issues in a timely manner
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, prepare status reports

- Strong Engineering Management and Project Engineering skills
- Proven Project Management experience, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Solid background in Construction and Construction Management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel while working part time in a hybrid environment
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication in English

Role Description
- The Senior Engineering Project Manager will lead and coordinate complex engineering and construction projects from concept through completion.
- This part time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on site presence and work from home flexibility, depending on project needs.
- Day to day responsibilities include defining project scope, schedules, and budgets; managing technical deliverables; and ensuring alignment with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
- The role involves overseeing multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants, and resolving technical and operational issues in a timely manner.
- The Senior Engineering Project Manager will monitor project progress, manage risks, prepare status reports, and support continuous improvement in project execution and construction practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Engineering Management and Project Engineering skills to lead technical teams and guide engineering solutions across project phases.
- Proven Project Management experience, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Solid background in Construction and Construction Management, with experience overseeing site activities, contractors, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI ACP) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel while working part time in a hybrid (office/site and remote) environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills, with strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Experience working in Abu Dhabi or the wider UAE construction and regulatory environment is highly beneficial.
