Role Overview
Robinhood’s Customer Experience Engineering team builds support systems including AI chatbot deflection, ticketing tools, and Concierge, a private wealth product for high-net-worth customers.
The Senior Engineering Manager for Agent Experience will lead engineering execution for a high-visibility, zero-to-one product.
The role includes technical direction, team culture, product delivery, and collaboration with product leadership.
The role is based in the Menlo Park, California office with in-person attendance expected five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an engineering team of approximately 15 people across iOS, Android, web, backend, and LLM/AI specializations.
- Own hiring, performance, and career development across the team.
- Partner with product managers and data scientists to deliver the Concierge roadmap from scoping through launch.
- Drive complex zero-to-one features, including AI-powered financial planning tools.
- Navigate ambiguity and direction changes while maintaining team focus and momentum.
- Represent engineering in executive discussions and communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership and the C-suite.
