Position Overview
This Senior Engineer role is part of Bain's TSG Software Engineering team and supports strategic internal software systems.
The team builds and supports enterprise-scale browser and mobile applications using current Microsoft technologies for a global user base.
Technical Delivery
- Develop and update enterprise applications as part of an Agile software development team.
- Analyze user stories, break down tasks, define technical approaches, and complete committed sprint work.
- Participate in application design, architecture, prototyping, upgrades, testing, and releases.
- Provide application support including problem diagnosis, resolution, reporting, and database administration.
- Write technical documentation and follow Bain development processes and standards.
Research and Communication
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools for current and future software initiatives.
- Present technical findings and recommendations to leadership and the Software Development team.
- Communicate impediments clearly and contribute feedback during sprint retrospectives.
