Role Overview
WSP is seeking a Senior Engineer - Structures for Australian mining infrastructure projects involving materials handling infrastructure.
The position is based in Mumbai and supports collaboration with a motivated engineering team in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Prepare foundation, steel structure, and concrete structure designs and calculations in compliance with industry standards.
- Perform analysis and design using Space Gass, STAAD Pro, SACS, Tekla, E3D, or S3D.
- Coordinate with piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, reports, design calculations, and technical submittals.
- Design foundations, piles, underground concrete structures, tunnels, slabs, steel buildings, platforms, stairs, trusses, bents, and support towers.
- Develop structural connections and verify field conditions and constructability.
- Redline CAD drawings, review submittals, perform self-checks, and follow internal QC processes.
- Report progress, risks, and concerns and coordinate with Australian lead offices.
- Maintain relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Support health and safety, sustainability, knowledge sharing, and service improvement.
