Role Overview
AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - Structural Site Supervision in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The role oversees structural engineering activities on-site and serves as a technical authority on structural construction matters.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate structural construction activities in compliance with approved designs and engineering specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks for structural integrity, building code compliance, and safety.
- Analyze structural challenges and provide technical solutions to construction issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, inspection reports, and progress records.
- Lead and mentor site engineering teams on structural construction methodologies.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to support project execution and problem resolution.
- Monitor material quality and testing procedures.
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures.
- Review and approve structural drawings, shop drawings, and construction sequences.
- Report project status, risks, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- At least 15 years of professional experience in structural engineering and site supervision.
