About the Role
Penspen seeks a Senior Quality Piping Engineer for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role leads QA/QC activities for piping fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning for ADNOC oil & gas projects.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement piping QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and quality documentation
- Monitor piping fabrication, erection, welding, NDT, hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement, and mechanical completion activities
- Review and approve welding procedures (WPS/PQR), welder qualifications, material certificates, and inspection records
- Ensure compliance with specifications, ASME, API, ASTM, ISO 9001, and project requirements
- Coordinate inspections with representatives, EPC contractors, third party inspectors, and certification agencies
- Manage quality audits, surveillance activities, NCRs, corrective actions, and root cause analyses
- Verify completion of inspection and testing activities and ensure accurate quality documentation for project handover
- Support commissioning and turnover activities through preparation of quality dossiers and final acceptance documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is Mandatory
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in a similar role
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in large scale EPC projects within the Middle East, preferably ADNOC Group
- Experience with major capital projects in the middle east (EPC environment preferred)
- Familiarity with ADNOC Engineering Standards and international civil construction codes, and quality management systems
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards including ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX, API standards, and ADNOC specifications
- Experience in welding inspection, NDT coordination, hydrotesting, and piping quality management
- Experience in managing client inspections, audits, and project quality compliance
- Proficiency in quality documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination
