Senior Engineer- PCB layout Design

About the Role

Job Responsibilities

• Create complex analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, power electronics, and embedded PCB layouts.
• Develop multilayer boards with high-speed interfaces, differential pairs, controlled impedance, and high-current power paths.
• Optimize component placement, routing, stack-ups, thermal performance, EMC/EMI, and manufacturability.
• Maintain footprints, schematic symbols, and component libraries, and conduct design, Gerber, DFM/DFT, and sign-off reviews.
• Support hardware integration, mechanical constraints, prototype builds, debugging, root-cause analysis, and design improvements.
• Resolve manufacturing issues with fabrication and assembly vendors and support ECAD administration and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in library management and PCB design.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer Pro and Cadence Allegro is required.
• Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of UL, IEC, IPC, and other relevant industry standards.
• Familiarity with SI/PI analysis tools, Windchill or similar PLM systems, and DFM, DFA, and DFT is advantageous.
