Job Description
The Networking team is hiring software engineers with experience in multiple programming languages and hands-on networking equipment.
The role supports infrastructure deployment and network platforms in an Agile environment.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
- Perform software engineering and infrastructure deployment to support Networking team goals.
- Provide L3 support for all platforms supported by the Networking team.
Experience Required
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working with networking platforms.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with multiple programming languages.
- Demonstrable experience configuring networking equipment using Git-based deployment pipelines.
Technical Requirements
- Demonstrable skills with GitHub or GitLab, Terraform, and CI/CD processes.
- Demonstrable skills with Jira or other issue trackers.
- Networking equipment includes switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, and firewalls.
- Cloud experience is required; Azure is preferred, but significant experience with another cloud platform is acceptable.
- Palo Alto experience is a plus.
Reporting Relationship
The role reports to the Global Head of Infrastructure and Platform Engineering.
