TLEA is welcoming applications for a full-time Senior Engineer Mechanical to join our team working at our Kwinana plant.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading mechanical engineering activities on debottlenecking and brownfield modification projects (PMRs) at TLK’s lithium refinery operation plant. This role provides end-to-end technical input across the project lifecycle - from concept development through to construction support - ensuring all mechanical designs are safe, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with plant operability. The position requires strong coordination with internal stakeholders, consultants, and operations teams to deliver efficient, compliant, and constructible engineering solutions.
In addition to possessing our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation, this position will suit an individual with extensive prior experience as a senior mechanical engineer, ideally within Brownfield Environments and Operations.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical engineering roles, including brownfield and project-based work in resource or chemical processing industries.
Sound understanding of Australian Standards (e.g., AS1210, AS4041, ASME) and engineering practices relevant to process plants.
Proven experience in pressure equipment, piping systems, rotating equipment, and layout design.
Experience reviewing 3D models, mechanical drawings, and design deliverables.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Safety-focused mindset with an ability to balance technical integrity and practical constructability.
