Senior Engineer - Managed Services

Role overview

Job purpose

• Serve as the main contact for technical clarification and communication in Managed Services.
• Develop the technical skills of the Managed Services team and evaluate field-team capabilities.
• Arrange resources and help solve technical problems as needed.

Technical delivery

• Ensure teams follow procedures, policies, and documentation requirements throughout maintenance activities.
• Guide teams through troubleshooting, testing, implementation, and review of completed work.
• Provide technical direction in design, development, and systems integration when required.
• Make timely decisions and solve technical problems during Managed Services implementation.
• Identify resource and equipment needs, plan capacity, and manage software and hardware availability.

Field and team operations

• Provide technical training and mentorship to team members.
• Conduct regular site visits under AMC agreements and verify systems operate smoothly.
• Check preventive maintenance routines and technical scopes of work.
• Conduct internal quality inspections and technical site surveys.
• Prepare technical guidelines and conduct quarterly technical performance evaluations.
• Develop and maintain a remote Managed Services program and oversee technical handovers.

Stakeholder coordination

• Evaluate tender technical specifications.
• Build and maintain client and vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Information Technology degree.
• Project management skills are essential; certification is an asset.
• 8–10 years of project management experience in security services companies.
• Extensive knowledge of the UAE.
• Detailed-oriented approach with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Customer orientation and highly technical capability.
