Senior Engineer II - Software

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ECE / CSE / EEE .
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, C# / Python
• Hands‑on experience with 8‑bit, and/or 32‑bit microcontrollers .
• Experience working with peripheral interfaces such as USB, PCIe, SPI, I²C, UART , etc.
• Experience in debugging, logging, and defect tracking tools
• Proficiency in using logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other embedded validation tools .
• Ability to collaborate closely with developers, Architects, Product Managers and QA teams across geographies to ensure quality delivery.
• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, SDLC .
• Experience with version control systems such as Git .
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to derive test strategies and design specifications from multiple stakeholder inputs.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills , with the ability to engage stakeholders as required.
• Engage in all phases of the product life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, release, and sustenance .
• Required Experience: 8 to 12 years

Desired Skills / Knowledge

• Self‑motivated, collaborative, and capable of working effectively with cross‑functional global teams.
• Hands‑on experience in API testing and automation .
• Exposure to RTOS / Linux / macOS environments.
• Experience using static analysis tools such as PC‑Lint, Coverity .
• Experience in embedded security and CRA‑aligned testing , including secure boot validation, firmware integrity checks, vulnerability assessment, and compliance support.
• Experience with embedded performance analysis tools such as Percepio Tracealyzer, SEGGER SystemView, iPerf, protocol analyzers, and RTOS profiling utilities .
• Exposure to security testing, test data management , and test infrastructure optimization.
