The Senior Engineer – EMS Solutions is responsible for delivering advanced Energy Management System (EMS) solutions for Refinery, Petrochemical, and industrial clients. The role focuses on Energy Optimization, Process Simulation, Digital Twin applications, Real-Time Optimization (RTO), and Advanced Process Control (APC) technologies to improve operational efficiency, energy performance, profitability, and sustainability. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, and responsible for developing and maintaining integrated energy and process optimization models that improve operational efficiency, energy performance, profitability, and sustainability across refinery and petrochemical Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Lead energy management and utility optimization initiatives using KBC Visual MESA, including steam, power, fuel gas, hydrogen, and utility systems. Develop and maintain process simulation and Digital Twin models using Petro-SIM, ensuring accurate representation of plant operations and integration with data historians, optimization platforms, and digital transformation programs. Design, implement, and support Real-Time Optimization (RTO) applications to maximize refinery profitability, operational efficiency, and asset performance across process units and utility systems. Develop, commission, and maintain Advanced Process Control (APC) applications using Yokogawa PACE, including controller design, performance monitoring, tuning, and APC-RTO integration for closed-loop optimization. Collaborate closely with operations, planning, process engineering, and automation teams to identify and implement optimization opportunities that enhance plant reliability, efficiency, and economic performance. Conduct site assessments, system testing, commissioning, operator training, and post-implementation support. Support digital transformation initiatives through advanced process modeling, analytics, and optimization technologies. Provide technical leadership during project execution, commissioning, and customer support activities. Top of Form Bottom of Form Qualification and Experience Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related discipline. Mater degree is preferred Minimum 10 years of experience in refinery, petrochemical, LNG, or process industries. Proven experience with KBC Visual MESA or equivalent energy platforms for utility and energy optimization. Strong hands-on experience with Petro-SIM, Aspen Plus, Hysys, Unisim process simulation software.

Essential Strong expertise in KBC Visual MESA or equivalent software for refinery, Petrochemical, energy management, utility system modeling, energy optimization, and performance analysis.
Hands-on experience with Petro-SIM, Aspen Hysys, Unisim Design, Pro II for steady-state and dynamic process simulation model development, validation, and maintenance.
Proven experience in Digital Twin implementation, including model development, integration, testing, and lifecycle support.

Knowledge of process control fundamentals, multivariable predictive control (MPC), optimization algorithms, and closed-loop optimization.
