The employer is seeking a Senior Engineer – Electrical for a building construction project in Purnia, Bihar.
The role covers planning, execution, supervision, testing, commissioning, and maintenance coordination for electrical works at the project site.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and execute electrical works for building construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical requirements.
- Plan and monitor electrical works against the approved project schedule.
- Execute HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, panels, cabling, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and power distribution systems.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, plumbing, HVAC, firefighting, and other MEP activities.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, subcontractors, material consumption, and wastage.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and QA/QC teams.
- Verify quantities and support electrical BOQ and billing preparation.
- Coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams and ensure safety and HSE compliance.
- Prepare progress reports, maintain site records, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support testing, commissioning, handover, and project completion.
Qualifications and experience
- B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
- 7–14 years of relevant experience in electrical works for building construction or MEP projects is required.
- Experience in commercial, residential, hospital, institutional, hotel, industrial, or high-rise projects is preferred.
- Additional certification in Electrical Safety or MEP is an advantage.
Pay
- Pay is ₹50,000–₹100,000 per month.
