Senior Engineer - Electrical

Key Duties & Skills

• Knowledge of code & standards and practices related to water industry.
• Proven design experience; including concept, preliminary, detailed, construction phases
• Has thorough technical knowledge of Lighting calculations and design Low voltage power distribution Earthing and bonding systems Cable systems and containment Lightning Protection system design Cable sizing and short circuit calculations Uninterrupted power supplies Interfaces engineering to PLC/SCADA system Conversant with ETAP, SKM Tool, DIALUX software’s. Should be able to carry out following studies independently Cable sizing calculations Voltage drop calculations Short circuit studies Arc Flash studies Relay coordination and Discrimination studies Earthing and bonding Lighting design. Preparation and checking of technical specifications, design basis reports, etc. Has good appreciation of Health, safety and environmental aspects. Ability to carry out design reviews independently. Familiar with American standards, NFPA, IEEE and IEC standards related to Water Industry. Experience within a consultancy environment specifically extended office of lead business. Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language, with good report writing, analytical and computer skills. Ability to think in an innovative manner Knowledge of commercial aspects of projects
