Senior Engineer - Design (Control Valve)

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for end-to-end order engineering / new product development / VAVE / calculations and technical documentation related to Industrial/Engineered Control and Desuperheater Valves within Celeros FT product portfolio spread across industrial, power and energy sectors. Provide engineering support for internal and external needs. Apply product knowledge to develop innovative solutions and coordinate with team and Technology teams viz. for drawing completion, BOM and design validation. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• At all times be a strong and vocal advocate and actor for maintaining a healthy and safe work environment for you and all those around you.

• Lead the design, development, and order engineering activities for valve projects, ensuring alignment with technical requirements.

• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior design engineers.

• Review customer specifications, analyze engineering requirements and propose engineered solutions.

• Perform final review and release of 3D models, assemblies and drawings using Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault.

• Generate, organize and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and release BOM’s to production (in SAP system).

• Performing order/design related engineering calculations for day-to-day activities and long-term projects. Manage engineering deliverables in line with project timelines from initial sales order through execution.

• Plan, coordinate, and prioritize team activities to ensure on-time completion of engineering tasks.

• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects such as NPD/VAVE and review and communicate the impact on engineering activities

• Conduct and lead design reviews, including interpretation and validation of design analysis reports.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions based on COPQ/customer claims

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and collaboration.
