Join Pratt & Whitney’s Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering team at the India Engineering Center in Bengaluru.
Develop data science and analytics solutions that improve aircraft engine repairs and overhauls by reducing maintenance cost and time.
Role Type
- The position is classified as hybrid, with regular work both onsite and offsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify data science opportunities, analyze DMRO data, and build Power BI dashboards for the MRO network.
- Develop, test, deploy, monitor, and explain machine learning and statistical models for forecasting and prediction.
- Recommend analytics methods and software solutions, support continuous improvement, and own project milestones.
- Provide technical guidance and follow agile and Scrum practices during project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 or more years of experience, or an advanced degree with 7 or more years of experience, in data science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics.
- At least 5 years of machine learning or statistical modeling experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with SQL or Databricks.
- Python proficiency, strong communication, teamwork, agile familiarity, judgment, maturity, and creative problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace domain experience and experience developing Power BI dashboards.
- Databricks experience and familiarity with Scrum Master responsibilities.
- Ability to bridge technical expertise and business needs.
