Reporting to the National Lead, Bus Transit engineering, the Bus Transit engineer supports ATKINSRéalis’ capabilities in bus systems engineering, zero‑emission fleet technologies, intelligent transportation systems, charging facilities, and depot modernization.
The engineer plays a key role in delivering consulting mandates, feasibility studies, detailed designs, and implementation support for clients seeking to improve the performance, reliability, and sustainability of their bus networks. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, the Bus Transit Engineer collaborates with experts in systems engineering, infrastructure design, electrical engineering, rolling stock, operations planning, and project management.

Your role
- Engineering and Technical expertise: Supports technical designs, specifications, integration on bus-related projects, including bus fleets, on-board systems, charging infrastructure, maintenance operations.
- Consulting and client support: Participate in multidisciplinary project teams, delivering studies, conceptual designs, and implementation strategies for major transit clients.
