Role purpose
Supervise internal milk-run logistics for timely delivery of raw and packing materials to production and collection of empties.
Provide production plans to manufacturing and procurement teams and support digital tools in production planning.
Logistics management
- Organize and notify delivery of raw materials and packing materials through internal milk runs.
- Collect empty containers from the production shop and report performance through management information systems.
- Decant raw materials as required by production and supply them to the shop.
Store and people management
- Ensure direct materials are stored safely and securely according to standards.
- Monitor blocked stocks and conduct decanting according to production requirements.
- Train and supervise logistics operations in line with procedures and work instructions.
Escalation and compliance
- Escalate physical logistics and material-delivery topics to the leadership team using the escalation matrix.
- Manage commercial processes according to internal guidelines, foreign trade, customs, and taxation laws.
