The Content Delivery team builds the critical technologies that deliver high-quality content on demand to live Fortnite players.

You'll develop core features for the next generation of Unreal Engine, working across game teams and Epic projects to shape how dynamic content is delivered at scale.

In this role, you will

• Architect and implement low-level engine systems across multiple platforms, including networking, I/O access interfaces, analytics, and the language toolchain, with a focus on robustness, performance, and usability
• Re-architect Unreal Engine to support the long-term vision of delivering content on demand at a more granular level
• Own the design, development, and delivery of complex new features in a live game product
• Bring together multiple engine subsystems to achieve maintainable functional solutions
• Design stable, forward-thinking APIs that expose engine capabilities to gameplay layers, for both internal and external developers
• Collaborate across core engine and gameplay teams to build solutions that meet diverse and evolving needs
• Drive technical excellence across platforms, including debugging, maintenance, system reliability, and optimization
