Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary technical workstreams across energy networks, renewables, storage, system integration, and energy strategy.
• Deliver feasibility studies, engineering assessments, technical advisory, due diligence, and Owner's Engineer assignments.
• Assess technical configurations, technology options, operational constraints, and infrastructure interfaces.
• Undertake or coordinate power-system, grid-integration, energy-modelling, and techno-economic analyses.
• Support network and substation planning, design, procurement, and construction-stage services.
• Review designs, calculations, specifications, equipment data, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and engage with clients, utilities, developers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage assigned scopes against programme, budget, quality, governance, and health and safety requirements.
• Prepare technical deliverables and support proposals, client development, and business development.
• Mentor junior professionals and maintain relationships with peers, OEMs, contractors, and clients.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, energy, or power engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in consulting, utilities, project development, engineering, EPC, Owner's Engineer, or technical advisory environments is required.
• Technical depth in at least one relevant energy discipline and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces are required.
• The candidate must interpret complex technical information and develop clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience with relevant engineering, modelling, or data-analysis tools is required.
• Strong written, presentation, client-facing communication, and business development skills are required.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing concurrent assignments is required.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Middle East or international utility-scale BESS experience, BESS contracting knowledge, and professional accreditation are advantageous.
