- Prepare comprehensive, highly accurate cost estimations for upcoming electrical projects and tender submissions
- Review, analyze, and approve project quotations, vendor proposals, and subcontractor bids
- Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising on quality or safety
- Monitor project budgets continuously, ensuring financial targets and profit margins are maintained
- Oversee the daily progress of multiple concurrent electrical projects across various sites
- Coordinate extensively with cross functional project teams (MEP, Civil, Architecture) to ensure seamless integration and execution of electrical works
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with the overall master project plan
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and main contractors regarding electrical scopes
- Evaluate overall project performance against baseline schedules and budgets
- Proactively identify potential bottlenecks, material shortages, or operational delays, and implement immediate corrective action plans
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with stringent company quality standards and relevant UAE local authority regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections and lead progress review meetings with site teams
Requirements
- Experience in preparing cost estimations for electrical projects and tender submissions
- Ability to review and analyze project quotations, vendor proposals, and subcontractor bids
- Knowledge of value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality or safety
- Experience in monitoring project budgets and ensuring financial targets are met
- Ability to oversee multiple concurrent electrical projects across various sites
- Strong coordination skills with cross functional teams (MEP, Civil, Architecture)
- Familiarity with UAE local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defence)
- Experience in supervising and mentoring junior electrical engineers
