Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Electrical Inspection Engineer, based in Dubai with flexibility for some remote work.
The role involves conducting inspections, technical assessments, testing activities, and compliance reviews for amusement rides and entertainment attractions in accordance with international standards and regulatory requirements.
The engineer will be responsible for preparing technical inspection reports, reviewing electrical systems, supporting project teams during inspections and testing activities, and contributing to the overall safety and performance of attractions and entertainment facilities.
The role may involve travel across the UAE and GCC region depending on project requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering systems with a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience in inspection, testing, compliance, or technical safety activities within engineering environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to evaluate compliance with international standards, regulations, and engineering best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with international standards such as EN 13814, ASTM F24, BS ISO 17842, and BS EN 60204-1.
- Knowledge of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) management principles.
- Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment combining office, site, and remote activities.
- Willingness to travel for inspections and project activities across the UAE and GCC region.
- Professional certifications related to electrical inspection, safety, or quality management are considered an advantage.
