About the Role
GENFOCUS GROUP is hiring a Senior Electrical Estimation Engineer in Abu Dhabi. You will prepare electrical estimates, BOQs, and cost analysis for residential, commercial, warehouse, and industrial buildings.

Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical estimates, BOQs, and cost analysis for residential, commercial, warehouse, and industrial buildings
- Perform quantity take offs from drawings
- Coordinate with MEP teams for accurate estimates
- Analyze vendor quotations and conduct comparative analysis
- Prepare tender documentation and cost estimates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2–4 years of experience (UAE experience required)
- Strong knowledge of electrical estimation for residential, commercial, warehouse & industrial buildings
- Quantity take off (QTO/BOQ) preparation from drawings
- Cost estimation for electrical, ELV & lighting systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Coordination with MEP teams for accurate estimates
- Knowledge of vendor quotations & comparative analysis
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast paced, project driven environment

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong project estimation and BOQ preparation skills, including quantity take offs, cost analysis, and tender documentation.
- Candidates should possess solid civil engineering and electrical engineering knowledge relevant to construction and MEP projects.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills for dealing with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Candidates should possess research and analytical skills to gather pricing data, benchmark costs, and assess market trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related discipline); advanced certifications in estimation or project management are an advantage.
- Several years of experience in electrical estimation within construction, MEP, or energy projects in the GCC region, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Proficiency in estimation and tendering software, MS Excel, and reading technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast paced, project driven environment.
