Role overview
Join the Built Environment team as a technically strong and client-focused Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Buildings.
Lead electrical building-services design across complex projects in the Middle East.
Take technical responsibility for projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, support clients, and mentor junior engineers.
Design delivery
- Lead electrical design from concept through detailed design, tender, construction support, and project close-out.
- Prepare, review, and approve calculations, specifications, drawings, reports, schedules, and technical submissions.
- Design and coordinate power, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV systems.
- Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, authority requirements, client briefs, and quality processes.
Coordination and stakeholders
- Manage electrical engineers, BIM technicians, and junior team members for accurate and coordinated delivery.
- Coordinate with mechanical, public health, fire and life safety, structural, architectural, BIM, sustainability, and project-management disciplines.
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, statutory authorities, utility providers, and other third parties.
