Senior Electrical Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 7+ years of relevant experience (advanced degree preferred).
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) required, Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with electrical generation projects at a traditional engineering or architectural firm or EPC contractor.
• Electrical engineering and design experience on grid-scale, commercial, or utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the construction and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Understanding of DAS/SCADA software and review of datapoints in various platforms.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar) software and electrical discipline libraries preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in ETAP or SKM (or similar) power study software required.
• Working knowledge of conceptual design software such as SIFT/Helioscope and energy modeling software such as PVSYST.
• Hands-on design experience with software necessary for the job functions.
• Strong communication, drafting, and presentation skills.
• Curiosity in experimenting with new design approaches and a “can-do” attitude toward problem-solving.
• The anticipated salary range for this role is $140,000- $175,000 per year + bonus.
• Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, certifications, and relevant experience as outlined in the job description above.
