Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
At least 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in vehicle electrical/electronic design and product development.
Experience taking vehicle E/E architectures from requirements and concept through detailed design, integration, verification, release, and production or field support.
Strong knowledge of low-voltage power distribution, circuit protection, grounding and bonding, harnesses, connectors, ECUs, sensors, actuators, and networked control systems.
Experience with vehicle harness design, schematics, wiring diagrams, connector and wire selection, routing, harness drawings, BOMs, and supplier coordination.
Experience integrating autonomous or other complex vehicle subsystems and multidisciplinary hardware/software interfaces.
Knowledge of CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, serial communications, diagnostics, and service interfaces.
Experience with electrical design tools such as Capital, Zuken E3, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent platforms.
Knowledge of requirements management, design reviews, DFMEA, verification planning, design release, and engineering change control.
Ability to diagnose complex vehicle electrical and integration problems using analysis, measurement equipment, network diagnostics, vehicle data, and test evidence.
Strong communication, collaboration, technical ownership, and professional English skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience with military vehicles, unmanned ground vehicles, off-road platforms, commercial vehicles, mobile machinery, robotics, or other safety-critical and demanding vehicle systems is preferred.
Knowledge of military or equivalent environmental and electrical requirements for vehicle systems and power architectures is preferred.
Experience with vehicle EMC standards, compliance matrices, test planning, laboratory coordination, test witnessing, and test report review is preferred.
Experience with hybrid or electric vehicle systems, high-voltage interfaces, energy storage, DC/DC conversion, or auxiliary power is preferred.
Experience with low-volume production, supplier industrialization, harness manufacturing, end-of-line testing, serviceability, and field support is preferred.
