Position and Work Arrangement
The position is Senior Electrical Engineer based in Abu Dhabi.
The role is full-time and on-site.
Working hours are 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, five days per week.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design activities for building and infrastructure projects from concept through detailed design.
- Develop power distribution and lighting systems and prepare technical drawings and specifications.
- Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams.
- Support site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Guide junior engineers and designers.
- Contribute to quality assurance, value engineering, and timely project milestone delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience working with an engineering consultancy in Abu Dhabi.
- Strong experience designing and coordinating electrical systems for building projects.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority requirements, regulations, and approval procedures.
- Familiarity with local and international electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical calculation or design tools.
- Ability to prepare and review designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical submissions.
- Strong multidisciplinary coordination, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
