The Senior Electrical Engineer oversees and manages electrical engineering activities across projects.
The role covers design review, site execution, coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day electrical engineering activities and coordinate with project stakeholders.
- Review and prepare design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Manage material requisitions, manpower plans, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Monitor progress using two-week look-ahead plans.
- Supervise technicians and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors.
- Troubleshoot systems, report progress, resolve issues, and support timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and testing.
- Experience in design review, shop drawings, and site execution.
- Familiarity with engineering software and design tools.
- Understanding of safety standards and quality requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Arabic speaking is an advantage.
- Experience in project-based or construction environments is preferred.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management experience is preferred.
