Minimum 2+ years of experience delivering in-person classroom theory instruction or classroom-based driver education
Strong knowledge of Alberta Traffic Safety Act and road regulations
Strong classroom management, presentation, facilitation, and student engagement skills
Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess student knowledge and provide constructive feedback
High level of professionalism, patience, and safety awareness
Senior or lead instructor experience in a driver education program
Experience mentoring or supporting other instructors
Experience delivering in-person, classroom-based driver education theory
Familiarity with digital training records and administrative systems
Primarily in-person classroom and office environments
Frequent interaction with students and the public
Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, based on course demand Physical Demands
Extended periods of standing, speaking, presenting, and facilitating classroom discussion
Use of classroom technology, training materials, handouts, and digital records
Sustained focus and attention while monitoring student engagement and understanding
