- Clip nails, clean ears, brush teeth, and check for signs of parasites or skin conditions
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort and reducing stress during grooming
- Communicate with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and special needs
- Identify and report any health or behavioral concerns observed during grooming
- Maintain grooming tools, equipment, and the grooming area in a clean, safe, and hygienic condition
- Adhere to animal welfare standards and shop policies at all times
- Build good relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
