Role overview
Wood is recruiting a Senior Document Controller for the ADNOC Offshore Umm Shaif Gas Cap Phase 1 project.
The role manages and controls project documentation in the oil and gas sector while coordinating with contractors, clients, and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the project document control system in line with company procedures and client requirements.
- Register, distribute, track, retrieve, and securely store project documents.
- Prepare transmittals, maintain logs, and generate documentation status reports.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients for timely documentation submissions and receipts.
- Train junior document controllers and coordinate audits for QA/QC and project compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 10 years of experience.
- Extensive document control experience in the oil and gas sector.
- Proficiency in document management systems, with knowledge of ISO standards and major client documentation requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
