Role Overview
The role is Senior Manager - Distribution Planning.
The position leads network-wide inventory allocation and fulfillment optimization.
The objective is to maintain product availability, minimize operational costs, and support regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan finished-product distribution from company plants and central warehouses to super distributors.
- Coordinate with central warehouse and logistics teams for timely, cost-efficient deliveries.
- Balance inventory across super-distributor locations through transfers when needed.
- Execute modern trade, e-commerce, and Nepal export orders.
- Convert sales packs into physician samples or institutional packs as required.
- Review inventory ageing and support liquidation of slow-moving products.
- Support new product launches and post-launch replenishment.
- Lead transportation cost-saving initiatives in distribution planning and logistics.
Education and Qualifications
- MBA, PGDBA, or equivalent qualification in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management.
- Candidates should be capable of managing complex distribution landscapes with many products or SKUs and source-destination combinations.
