Senior Director, Strategy & Business Management – Digital Market Infrastructure

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic execution, business management, and delivery across the organization’s portfolio.
• Lead resource management, demand planning, and capacity planning across Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Oversee strategic program management, dependencies, risks, milestones, and client commitments.
• Establish governance and portfolio oversight covering roadmap progress, delivery health, financials, and risks.
• Develop operating rhythms and reporting for financial planning, headcount, KPIs, investment governance, and executive presentations.
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Commercial teams.
• Improve organizational effectiveness, operating processes, and ways of working to support scale and growth.

Experience and Qualifications

• 15 or more years of product management or technical product management experience, ideally in financial services or market infrastructure.
• At least four years of hands-on experience with digital asset custody, wallet infrastructure, or adjacent settlement and safekeeping infrastructure.
• Experience delivering platform products end to end and translating technical concepts into roadmaps, requirements, and prioritized backlogs.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams that include product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to gather requirements across cross-functional partners.

Technical Expertise

• Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, logs, metrics, and data-based validation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of custody operating models, safeguarding expectations, and control frameworks.
• Knowledge of hot, warm, and cold wallets, transaction lifecycles, and blockchain network mechanics.
• Knowledge of cryptography, MPC, HSMs, key ceremonies, backup and recovery, and secure signing.
• Knowledge of custody operational risks, approvals, entitlements, travel rule considerations, reconciliation, auditability, and incident response.
• Experience supporting multiple blockchain networks and asset types.

Delivery Environment

• Experience delivering secure, resilient, and auditable software in regulated environments.
• Strong software development lifecycle, change management, and operational readiness practices are required.
